    A rakhi is tied in the morning and, by the end of the week, it is in a drawer or a bin. This is the opposite of that.

    Ten pieces of handmade seed paper — a colouring book, a notebook, bookmarks, coasters, postcards, cards — built around a cotton-thread rakhi with its own roli-chawal tilak set, all handmade in Agra. He uses them for months. Then every one of them goes into soil and grows.

    Use it. Then grow it.

    There's no rush. Each piece plants whenever it's finished being useful.

    Not at all — use the stationery normally and plant each piece whenever it's done its job. Some people take months.
