Bought this after my regular office shoes got ruined twice in two weeks of heavy rain in Chennai. Have been using it daily for the commute from home to the metro station and it has held up impressively well. No water getting in even during the worst downpours. The grip is the real winner though, our office lobby floor becomes a slipping hazard every monsoon and this tread pattern handles it without any issue. Fold it flat and keep it in my bag the rest of the time.

Ordered this before an important client meeting during a Mumbai downpour and honestly it saved the day. Wore over my formal shoes and walked through ankle deep water near the station without a drop getting in. The tread also gripped the wet marble lobby floor at the office building really well, no slipping at all which used to be a real worry with regular leather soles. Fabric quality of the silicone feels genuinely durable, not the flimsy type you get for half the price locally.

We live on the third floor of an apartment with a slippery wet staircase every monsoon and I was honestly worried about my mother slipping on the steps. Got her a pair and she has been using them for the school run and market visits since. No slipping at all even on the wet tiled steps outside our building. Comfortable to wear over her regular shoes, doesnt feel bulky. Only wish it came with a smaller size option specifically marked for women but it fit fine adjusted.

Expected slightly better grip on wet marble specifically. Works fine on regular wet road and pavement though.

Wore both covers for the whole first week of heavy Bangalore rain and my shoes stayed completely dry, even through some proper puddles. The grip on wet tar road at signals is noticeably better too. Folds down small enough that I keep it in my scooty seat storage permanently now.

Quality of the silicone is good, doesnt feel cheap like the ones sold on the roadside during monsoon season. Delivery was quick, about 3 days. Slightly pricier than the roadside plastic version but the fit and finish felt more premium and it survived the whole season without tearing. 🙏
